Over 50 Years of Expertise
The Petock & Petock Law firm was founded by the late Michael F. Petock, Esq. in 1972 atop the PSFS building in Philadelphia.
Michael F. Petock was widely regarded as a top patent attorney by his clients, fellow attorneys and judges.
The firm relocated to beautiful Phoenixville, PA in the mid 1980’s in an effort to be closer to many of the firm’s clients and the thriving business scene occurring in the Philadelphia suburbs.
Michael C. Petock joined the firm to work alongside his father in 2004 and is now the firm's managing partner. Joseph E. Maenner Esq. is the firm's newest addition heading the firm's Patent Prosecution matters since 2014.
In 2014 we also expanded to West Chester in order to provide better convenience to our Chester County, PA clients.
Our Principles Remain The Same
These days, the firm’s Managing Partner, Michael C. Petock leads the firm by the principles on which it was founded by his dad almost half a century ago:
Know the law.
Practice law in a way that earns trust.
Be a fierce advocate for your clients.
These principles have resulted in Petock & Petock being the area’s
"go to" IP law firm - the firm even other lawyers look to when they need attorneys they can trust with their own client’s intellectual property matters.
Michael C. Petock is proud of the firm’s tradition and reputation and is honored to have been selected by his peers nine years in a row as a Main Line Today Top Lawyer in Intellectual Property.
When you hire Petock & Petock you are hiring a member of your team.
You will not just be working with an attorney, but also with a fierce advocate that knows your business, your goals, and your preferences.
When you trust your matter with Petock & Petock, you will be putting your trust in attorneys that have immersed themselves in intellectual property law and take deep pride in the principles of knowledge, trust and loyalty on which the firm was founded.
